Zeynep has been working on Psycho-social Support (PSS), Education in Emergencies (EiE), Conflict and Disaster Risk Reduction (C-DRR), and Strategic Human Resources Management related national and international projects since 1999. Zeynep involved in several community based, participatory situation and risk assessment, policy dialogs with stakeholders (specifically with government bodies), community based participatory material development, capacity building on advocacy skills, research, project proposal design and project management, strategic human resource management related projects. She worked for Bogazici University-USAID/OFDA, GHI/ CARESI, American Red Cross; Istanbul Governorship- World Bank; TR Disaster and Emergency Presidency (AFAD)- JICA; Concern Worldwide Turkey, Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), Palestine Ministry of Education-Save the Children, TR Ministry of Education-UNICEF Turkey, Vesiuvius- Foseco and British Academy. She is author of Basic Disaster Awareness, Children Working in the Street, Drugs and Stimulating Substances books. She is member of International Network for Education in Emergencies Minimum Standards and Tools working Group (INEE MS), and Core Humanitarian Standards Technical Advisory Group. She also has been working as a part-time faculty staff at Bogazici University.
