Solmaz Havuz

Graduated from Istanbul University, she has 12 years of teaching experience as a philosophy teacher. After conducting several trainings as an educator and a group leader, she worked as an Education Coordinator at Nirengi Psychological and Guidance Center.

She conducted many seminars about “ Effective Parent & Child Communication”. She also worked with parents in groups regarding their conflict-resolution skills and anger management strategies. She formed “parent guidance” groups in order to improve family communication.

She offers several workshops on Assertive Training, Effective Communication Skills, Conflict Management, Body Language, Authority & Power, Emotional Intelligence, Stress Management, Motivation, Touching Creativity and Trainer’s Education. She was involved in psychosocial support project for UNICEF Turkey and gender equity; honour murders project for several NGOs. She worked in “Cotton Candy” Project with Kırmızı Biber Association. She worked with pre-school children’s parents about Child Abuse & Neglect, offering them trainings and knowledge about the issue. She also offers different workshops to the schools, such as Selim Pars HS, Kultur College, Robert College, Dora Kinder garden, etc., civil and private organizations, such as KA-DER, KAMER vb. She is the co-author for the book “ Everybody is creative”.
