International Standards for Disaster and Emergency Settings Training Have Been Completed!

As Nirengi Association, we believe that having a common language and approach between institutions and organizations working in the field of disaster and emergency/humanitarian aid is an important step in increasing the quality and accountability of the service for the affected people. Therefore, we have planned a series of trainings within the scope of the Haklara Destek Program in order to support the relevant institutions and organizations. The trainings were given by Zeynep Sanduvaç, SPHERE and INEE accredited trainer, and Board Member and Programs Coordinator of Nirengi Association. Within the scope of International Standards Used in Disaster and Emergency Situations:

° Sphere Humanitarian Charter and Disaster Response Minimum Standards,

° Core Humanitarian Standards on Quality and Accountability ,

° Social Emotional Learning and Psychosocial Support 

° Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action

° The Inter-Agency Standing Committee- Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings trainings were delivered.
