Graduated from Boğaziçi University’s Guidance and Psychological Guidance major, she completed her counseling masters’ degree at University of San Diego. She conducted groups with mothers about effective parenting strategies. She offered seminars on “Becoming a Mother”.
She worked as a counselor at Nirengi Psychological and Guidance Center. Her work emphasis in Nirengi was with adults as well as leading groups on Time Management, Surviving Loss, Emotional Abuse and Anger Management. She also offers several seminars on Depression, Emotional Abuse, Living with Adolescents and Effective Communication with Adolescents. She also works as a part-time faculty staff at Bogazici University and Yeditepe University, teaches courses in Guidance and Psychological Department. She still conducts sessions in a private practice.
